When buying anything online you should always check the company or seller information, confirming their contact details before committing to your purchase. These details can include:

-          ABN (Australian business number)

-          Address

-          Phone Number

-          Fax Number

-          Email

The easier this information is to find and the more information provided usually points to a sound business. If you are ever in doubt make sure you contact the seller by phone and confirm their authenticity. Asking some simple questions can help you make a clear decision whether or not to proceed with your transaction.

Delivery:

Insurance - Delivery is commonly overlooked by buyers but is very important. Don’t get caught out by sellers offering a deal too good to be true, it usually comes at a cost. A large number of online sellers “accept NO responsibility for any damaged or lost items after they have been posted or have been collected by the courier” not at GPS, we believe in old fashion customer service. We want to ensure that your package arrives safe and sound every time, that’s why your package is fully covered from door to door!

Cost - Some sellers on websites that allow members of the public to buy and sell amongst themselves have been known to charge 3 to 4 times the normal, expectable delivery charge in an attempt to recover their costs. Warranty:

A lot of people forget that not everyone offers a warranty on the products they sell, in fact a lot of online golf websites and supposed “discount” stores do NOT offer any warranty at all. That's why you should always check the warranty details with the seller. You’re forking out hundreds of dollars (sometimes thousands!) on what you think is a great investment; you take your new purchase down to your local driving range and on the first hit, the club head goes 50 meters further than the ball! With NO warranty offered by the vast majority of second hand sellers on auction style websites your money is gone, down the fairway along with your club!

Return Policy:

A good return policy is a must when buying your golf equipment. Too often people get stuck with impulse purchases or purchases that are not right for them and end up getting stung by huge re-stocking fees, some as high as 20%! That’s why it is very important, especially with golf clubs to make sure the seller has a safe and secure return policy. At GPS we offer a 7 Day no quibble return policy on all our clubs. You can take your new purchase to the driving range or out for a couple of holes with your local PGA Pro. If they’re not 100% perfect you can send them back, within 7 days for a full refund of the purchase price (less delivery costs).Our unique trade-in service also allows you to try your new purchase before committing to selling your old clubs, to ensure you're always playing with the best golf equipment suited to your game.

You can often tell a lot by looking at a company’s website. How a company presents itself quite often reflects how they are in real life. If a seller provides insufficient information in regard to a club's specification, things such as the condition, make and model, loft, flex, hand or the photos they produce lack quality and detail it’s a pretty safe bet the seller's service and attitude are much the same. Straight away you can relax. We do NOT sell counterfeit golf clubs and NEVER will. Unfortunately counterfeiting is widespread in the golf industry and includes counterfeit drivers, fairway woods, iron sets, putters, wedges and even golf bags and head covers!
